A long-time favourite at Puss & Mew Distillery, the Beespesso Martini is our elevated take on the classic Espresso Martini — richer, smoother and with layers of flavour that make it unmistakably Puss & Mew.
Instead of the traditional vodka base, we use our Gold Medal-winning Honey Coconut Gin, crafted with fresh Castlemaine honey, toasted coconut, dried fig and warming spices including cassia bark, allspice and nutmeg.
At the heart of the Beespesso is our house-made cold brew, made using Prima Tazza coffee beans. Its rich, rounded character brings notes of milk chocolate, hazelnut, blackcurrant and caramel, with a beautifully smooth finish.
Combined with the toasted coconut, smooth Australian honey and warming spices of our gin, the coffee takes on another dimension — rich espresso and chocolate give way to caramel and roasted hazelnut, with subtle dark fruit, coconut and lingering spice.
And at 19.2% ABV, this isn’t your typical watered-down bottled cocktail. Beespesso is the full-strength cocktail experience, made just as we served it at our distillery bar — we’ve simply bottled it for you to enjoy at home.
How to serve:
Add 125ml to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds, then strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Garnish with three coffee beans.
